The Serenity Safety Kit was created by Catherine Anesi, LCSW, RM, to aide those of you on a journey to Ultimate Emotional Health and Well-being. If you are reading these words then you are a person on the path to enlightenment. After many years of helping so many people through the TIME transformational process, Cathy found that a regular daily practice is essential.
The Serenity Safety Kit is to be used during your daily practice. It’s suggested that you take at least 20 minutes a day to meditate, journal, and reflect. This kit contains all the tools you will need to make your journey as stress-less as possible including: Journal & Pen, Candle, Sage Bundle, Crystal Pendulum, Crystal, Release™ Young Living Essential Oil Sample, Guided Meditation and Crystal Clear Oracle Cards by Cathy.
The box itself is an important part of your personal Serenity Safety Kit as this houses all of the tools. You are encouraged to decorate the box and make it your own. The creative process itself can be a healing one.
- Place those unwanted thoughts and feelings so that they get out of your mind and body.
- Make a gratitude list. Gratitude is one of the highest vibrations on the planet.
- Set Intentions. Getting Intentions on paper sets the energy in motion.
- Remember good ideas.
- Allow a flow of consciousness to come through you. You may learn a lot about yourself.
Sage Bundle – Clear the negative energy in yourself as well as your surroundings before you begin your daily practice. Sage can be used in several ways to clear negative energy from you and your surroundings. One way way is smudging. Smudging is an ancient shamanic process. Negativity is cleared away using the smoke of this burning herb. Sage is cleansing enough that it loosens the negative energy and carries it away into the universe where it can disperse. To smudge, light the tip of a sage smudge stick and let the fire consume the tip for a few seconds. Roll the tip into a heat proof pot to put out the flame, but not hard enough to stop the tip from burning and smoking. Use a heat-proof pot to hold the stick when it’s not in your hand. Allow it to pass over your body for a few minutes. Fan the smoke toward yourself with your hand. Another good method is to place the pot with the burning sage on the floor and stand over it, turning so it gets every angle. You’ll know when to stop — you’ll feel lighter, as if weights you didn’t know were there have been lifted. You can also cleanse your surroundings by setting the intention to clear the area while you walk through the space with the burning sage. Ask for help from the universe to eliminate any negative energy. Energy follows intention-always. Be sure to pay extra care to the corners and crevices of the rooms. Negative energy has a tendency to collect there. You will know that the energy has cleared when you physically see the energy dissipate. You will feel the difference.
Crystal Pendulum – Use your pendulum as part of your daily practice to help you to receive answers for simple questions. The pendulum will simply help you to determine a direction to go in. As you practice with your pendulum you will begin to trust its answers. How to Use a Pendulum: At its simplest the pendulum is used to divine the answer to simple Yes/No/Maybe questions. Simply hold the pendulum lightly, start it swinging gently then decide which direction (i.e. forwards-backwards or left-right) will indicate yes and which no. Then concentrate on the question and allow the pendulum to choose its path. Rather than depend on the direction of swing, some psychics prefer to determine the answer to their question by whether the pendulum swings backwards and forwards or around in a circle.
Crystal – Place the quartz crystal near you as part of your daily practice. Clear quartz is a wonderful addition to any home or office. It carries the energy of harmony and cooperation. One distinctive ability of the clear quartz is that you can program the crystal with your intent. You can also charge it with specific energy, be it from nature or people. Your crystal comes carefully cleared and infused with calm Reiki Energy. Your crystal has the ability to clear and purify the energy around it. Please be sure to clear your crystal periodically by rinsing it under cool water and placing it in the sun or moon light for a day.
RELEASE™ Young Living Essential Oil Sample – Use Release while you are
processing through difficult memories or experiences during your daily practice. This powerful essential oil will help you to move through the healing process much more quickly and easily. Release™ combines uplifting, calming oils that stimulate a sense of peace and emotional well-being, which in turn facilitate the ability to release anger and frustration. Repressed negative emotions lie at the root of many health concerns. Release promotes harmony and balance in the mind and body. How to use: For aromatic or topical use. Apply over the liver either directly or with a compress. Apply to the bottoms of feet and behind the ears. Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. This can be used during your daily practice or when you are feeling stressed and want to feel better.
Crystal Clear Self Care Cards by Cathy – This set of truth cards designed by Cathy each display a term that serves as a reminder and will help guide you in your journaling and reflection for the day. Pick one to three cards during your daily practice. You will be amazed at how pertinent they are to your experiences of the day. They are simple and easy to use. The cards never lie.
